The LDC-22 Wrap-around Casing Hander incorporates packoff, slip bowl, and slipsin a single unit. When the casing load is applied, the packoff automatically seals the annulus below the slips, thus allowing the annulus to be packed off before removing blow-out preventers and cutting the casing. The simple consruction and fewer parts make the LDC-22 economical and easy to repair.
